Met in the Ruins of Alph on 12/31/13 @ level 17. The name came from the golems of folklore, as it's made out of clay. However, since the Baltoy clearly didn't lack any intelligence, Phi borrowed from her experiences in the Nonary Game and dubbed it Gaulem instead. Gaulem likes to try to prove itself by leaping into battle, but late at night it can be caught doing a different kind of leaping... Could it be that this Baltoy has an interest in ballet?

Met when an egg from Tenten hatched in Violet City on 11/29/13 @ level 1. What girl doesn't want her very own zebra? After finally hatching her first egg, Phi decided to get another one so she could have yet another pokemon type. Also she could potentially ride this one at some point, presumably. Jupiter was named for the Roman god for obvious reasons, and he's kind of a pain in the ass. He likes to run around and is very full of himself.

Species: Heracross, the Single Horn Pokemon | Bug/Fighting.

Met on Route 32 on 12/31/13 @ level 9. With Jupiter as he is, it was no surprise when the zebra crashed into a tree and disturbed the sleeping Heracross. Who was, understandably, not too pleased by the turn of events and proceeded to knock Jupiter out despite the level disadvantage. Phi let the bug rage around a little longer before catching him, immediately naming him Mars, due to obviously being a god of war. Nowadays he mostly throws tantrums on hotel room floors because his trainer doesn't like to share her pillows.

Species: Snorunt, the Snow Hat Pokemon | Ice.

Met when an egg from Cecil hatched in the Ruins of Alph on 11/19/13 @ level 1. Originally dubbed "The Snow Baby", Phi elected to change her name soon after, going for a more Latin approach to it. Nivea hatched on a daytrip to the ruins near Violet City, consuming Nightmare Castle candy in the hopes of being able to battle against the Unown around them. She quickly found that she likes to battle and looks forward to the gyms she'll be able to crush in the future. Remember, it's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for.

Met through a Fateful Encounter in New Bark Town on 10/6/13 @ level 5. Shortly after arriving in New Bark Town, Phi began to have nightmares regarding her starter. Once their vacation to Nightmare Castle was over, however, she took the plant in as her partner, finally dubbing her Venus after the Roman goddess who was originally associated with vegetation and gardens. To reciprocate, Venus evolved and dedicated herself to the long process of learning how to read, write, and speak like a human. So far she has not accomplished much, but she gets an A for effort.
