Not being too acquainted with her 'gear outside of some texting she's done and some brief not-skype calls, Phi doesn't yet know to buy a second one when she wants to be the mystery woman she is. Oh well. It's probably a normal thing to be wondering...]

What's the last thing you remember before coming here?

It's okay to be vague -- something like "I saw a good friend" or "I was in a garden". I'll probably ask, but you're welcome to be shy about it, if that's what you'd prefer. Or tell me your life story. I don't have much to do, tonight.

What? Of course I'm not. If it's something I can do, she can do it far better; that's just how things are. But I don't mind.

Interesting that you should mention as such. Most people dislike the notion of someone working outside the rules, even if it were for their benefit. Such actions normally include an element of unpredictability and unfairness, as well as a disregard for the rules.

That sounds easier said than done. But other people still have expectations of me and I want to try to live up to them. It's the least I could do.

I'm from earth. I was really surprised but I actually met an alien a little while ago. Are you from a different planet too?

You don't think that this could have been a way of balancing your talents out? It sounds like she never indicated things were the same. Did these feelings you got seem intentional? Transmitted, I suppose you could say.

Sounds like those people need a reminder that someone can screw you over even while operating within the rules. I guess to me it depends on what the outcome is and what was at stake. Even if someone is unpredictable, if they are doing it for the sake of others' benefit, it can earn them some trust.

I don't suppose you've ever heard of anyone remembering this world when they were at home (physically or mentally)?

No, I'm from Earth as well. And 100% human, unlike what several people here have claimed.

I feel I owe it to them because they're the reason I exist at all.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, it deserves to be stormed.

Why would our talents need to be balanced out in the first place? She received almost all of them, because that's how things are supposed to be; it was never supposed to be equal.

I'd rather trust someone I wasn't positive on than be against someone I knew was trying to take me down. The latter is stuck in their ways, but perhaps I could earn the former's favor.

As I said, though, it all comes down to the motive behind their decision, not the decision itself.

Depends to what degree of non-human. Born with an unusual ability, I could believe them depending on what it is. Maybe they think they're a pegasus, though, and that's much easier to doubt.

I'm not against it! I have talents and interests of my own, of course I do, they just come second to hers.

I don't know, it's how things were always supposed to be. I never questioned it, nor did I really want to question it.

I was with a group back home that was in a complicated situation. We were all very different people -- some of us were clearly smarter, or stronger, or had a knack for puzzles. But we were all talented in our own way and no one was better than anyone else.

[MORALLY, maybe, but that's not the point.]

We were all there for a purpose, even if we didn't know it at the time. Even the one who didn't cooperate was there for a reason, and his actions could act as a springboard for everyone else's talents.

None of us deserved to be there, but we all had to be. It was necessary that we all be unique, but equal.

I specialize in weapons, defense, and military strategy back home. It's something I'm good at. Something that's mine. But it's not what I'm meant to do, nor is it what I was designed to do.

I don't mind, like I said. My sister is objectively perfect, and so I'm fine with using those talents to protect her and see that she can carry out what I can't.
