Not being too acquainted with her 'gear outside of some texting she's done and some brief not-skype calls, Phi doesn't yet know to buy a second one when she wants to be the mystery woman she is. Oh well. It's probably a normal thing to be wondering...]

What's the last thing you remember before coming here?

It's okay to be vague -- something like "I saw a good friend" or "I was in a garden". I'll probably ask, but you're welcome to be shy about it, if that's what you'd prefer. Or tell me your life story. I don't have much to do, tonight.

Apparently we're already doomed to be here a long time, but pass if you must.

I was really startled! I thought someone had broken into my house again. It's important work, so I can't blame him but he's not a bad person. He only started recently and I think some things were a little different to what he expected.

When I say a long time I mean it, I'm not sure I have the patience myself. I would say you're better off reading history books, but they probably wouldn't have books about my world here.

I've learned to try to not have expectations for a job... If you don't have concrete evidence of what's going to happen, it only makes adjusting to the reality even harder. Especially if it's something of importance.

History books? [...Well then, that is important work. But what could this person have done to make it into history books? While they were still alive, no less...] What kind of world are you from? Perhaps I'm familiar with it.

That sounds easier said than done. But other people still have expectations of me and I want to try to live up to them. It's the least I could do.

I'm from earth. I was really surprised but I actually met an alien a little while ago. Are you from a different planet too?

No, I'm from Earth as well. And 100% human, unlike what several people here have claimed.

I feel I owe it to them because they're the reason I exist at all.

Depends to what degree of non-human. Born with an unusual ability, I could believe them depending on what it is. Maybe they think they're a pegasus, though, and that's much easier to doubt.

I suppose I can see your logic. I did meet someone who claimed they were a dragon when I first arrived here, I'm not sure that I believed them either.

So things such as animals, mythical creatures and abstract ideas in a human form, those are the kinds of things you have trouble believing in?

Although just out of curiosity, what kind of evidence would you need from someone to believe them if they claimed to be non-human.

But it's true, I'm not human. But I suppose you could say that part of me is human since I was essentially made by humans.

I would be familiar with an AI as advanced as yours. What I'm not familiar with is Latvia, so I can't exactly quiz you to determine whether or not I should believe you.

Really? See, that to me would be strange. Technology isn't that advanced where I come from so I doubt an AI that human exists at all.

But Latvia is a small country in the north east of Europe. Have you really never heard of it?

It seems I'm from further in time than a number of people here. I wouldn't say that AI like that are common, but they do exist.

I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it other than its name. I wasn't aware that it had its own personal secretary, for instance.

A lot can change in politics in a short time, it helps.

I suppose it must sound strange, to be honest I don't really understand my own existence any more than anyone else.
