[Around thirty minutes later, another, less excited video makes its way to the network. It's actually Phi this time, though there's also the Gloom huddled up against her sleeping at the bottom of the frame. Seems like Phi has quickly adjusted to her pokemon's new scent.]

Hey. I got my first egg a while back, but it hasn't hatched yet. I thought that since I could hear it moving around about a week ago, it would be here by now... How long do these things usually take? It's a Snorunt, if that changes things.

[Pause.]

Information on how to care for baby pokemon or...newly evolved pokemon would be nice, too.

I'm not exactly used to baby animals, either. Besides, neither of them really...look like animals.

There was someone named Cecil selling eggs a little after I first arrived. Not a spectacular price for someone just starting out, but it was a worthy investment and he let me pay him once I got money from my job.

They have faces, though. [He looks down to the Gloom cuddled up to her.] And I've never heard of a plant hatching out of an egg.

[He sighs.] I was hoping they wouldn't be that expensive. [Uchiha-san lied to him! He knew that starter money wouldn't go far.]

Have you picked names for it yet?

The egg I got hasn't actually hatched yet. Venus was the pokemon I got when I arrived here.

I know. But aren't you going to pick names in advance? Otherwise what are you going to call it when it's born?

...Why? I don't know anything about the thing except that it's an Ice-type.

Does that matter? Parents don't know anything about their children before they're born either, but they still have to name them.

[That makes her pause. It was good reasoning, but this egg didn't really make her think 'child'...]

One wouldn't normally do the same with, say, a puppy, though, would they?

I've never had a puppy before.

See? Besides, it wouldn't be right to name this one when it took a month to get around to naming Venus.

[Though hopefully she can...skip the whole bonding trip in Nightmare Castle, this time.]
